A courtesy meeting was held today between the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector Investment arm of the World Bank Group and the FIAB.
The delegation from IFC comprised of Mr. Joon Young Park (Portfolio Manager), Mr. Santosh Pandey (Sr. Investment Officer) and Mr. Tara Nidhi Bhattarai (Bhutan Country Office, IFC). The FIAB was represented by Mr. Letho Wangchuk, Executive Director in the absence of the President.
The Meeting discussed about IFC’s interest to extend and expand their investment in the Bhutanese Financial Sector including external commercial borrowings and technical assistance for the Financial Sector overall and specific banks.
